Dr. Nicolau is a fellowship-trained glaucoma surgeon with a strong medical and surgical background and significant experience in ophthalmology throughout Texas. He completed his undergraduate studies at Texas A&M University, earning a degree in Biomedical Sciences. From there, Dr. Nicolau obtained both his medical degree and completed his residency training at Texas Tech University School of Medicine. Following his residency, he went on to complete his Glaucoma fellowship at UT Southwestern in Dallas.
Having practiced in various locations across Texas, including San Antonio, Corpus Christi, and Fort Worth, over the past 18 years, Dr. Nicolau has built a strong reputation for providing quality eye care. His expertise and commitment to patient well-being have made him a respected figure in the field of ophthalmology.Outside of work, Dr. Nicolau enjoys spending time with his family, watching his sons play baseball, and traveling.
Depending on the weekend, he’ll either be at home, reading up on current events and financial news, or out on an adventure with his kids.
