Dr. Sobti is a native Texan who grew up in Arlington, TX, and is excited to be closer to his family and friends. He began his higher education by obtaining his Bachelor's degree (with honors) and his medical degree from the University of Rochester in New York. Shortly after, he was named Chief Resident in his Ophthalmology residency at the University of Arizona. His formal training was completed following a demanding and prestigious fellowship focused on eyelid surgery at UT Southwestern.
Dr. Sobti will use his advanced knowledge of the latest techniques in eye surgery to focus on cataract, refractive, and eyelid surgery in our practice.
Throughout his career, Dr. Sobti has published numerous research manuscripts on the latest surgical techniques in eye surgery.
Dr. Sobti prides himself and his staff on treating each patient like family. He remains passionate about learning and serving his community. He has been honored to volunteer and teach cataract surgery around the world to those in need—in places such as Haiti, Nepal, India, Jamaica, and Cambodia. In his spare time, he enjoys music, spending time with family and friends, the arts, and photography.
